We are going to be putting together a SVHG Team for all things Hop Blossom. If you are interested in helping us plan the SVHG’s involvement in Hop Blossom, (The Fest and the Competition) please let us know ASAP. This is an easy way to become more involved in the club and judging apart from attending monthly meetings. We would need assistance in the departments of donation inquiries, judging, awards/medal presentation, entry procurement etc.

Doug, Kaan, Linda, Jason, Micah, Paul, Steve B, Tim S, Travis, Grant W and Myself

If anyone else wants to participate, please let me know

The only distillery we have had luck connecting with is River Hill Distillery out of Luray, VA. The others either don’t have barrels in their immediate emptying schedule or dropped communication. River Hill uses 15 gallon barrels – so keep that in mind. I have room for multiple barrels in my basement cellar (nice temp and humidity for aging). More discussion during the meeting
