SVHG June Meeting Friday June 17th at 7:30PM @ Valley Homebrew

No real agenda this month as we will be focused on handing out all the scoresheets and awards for those SVHG members that have won a 1st, 2nd 3rd in the Hop Blossom Homebrew Competition. I have plenty of great things to give out! And maybe even a free drawing or two.

• We will also be entertained by those SVHG members that happened to attend the National Homebrewers Conference in Baltimore as they share their experience on the Expo, Seminars and Club Night, etc.

• I have several cases of FULL bottles from the Competition that I will be bringing to the next SVHG Meeting on Friday June 17th. These are up for grabs for anyone that wants them.

• Please remember: Winchester Craft Beer Week is going on this week ended by the Hop Blossom Craft Beer Fest in Winchester Saturday June 18th from 12 Noon to 6PM. For those that have signed up to volunteer at the fest, you should be contacted by Mark or Beth Bates on the details. Eric and I will be there like last year to assist with pouring during the shifts and making sure folks have plenty of water and get the breaks that they need.

• Iron Brewer: The Sign up for our Annual Iron Brewer (Team Brewing/Secret Ingredient) Event will start in July 2016. And end at the Aug. SVHG Meeting. So start to get your Teams of at least 2-5 Brewers together and pick a fun Team Name (Or one will be selected for you) and look for that signup sheet to come out in July. Note: The Iron Brewer Secret Ingredient reveal this year will be Aug. 19th SVHG Meeting (After Signups are closed) Another note: The SVHG and Valley Homebrew are working to make Iron Brewer and MashToberfest (Saturday Oct. 29th 2016) a Charity event again this year as we did in 2015.
